St Mary’s College observes Vigilance Awareness week-2021
Shirva, Oct 31, 2021: St Mary’s College, Shirva observed Vigilance Awareness Week on October 29.
College Principal Dr. Herald Ivan Monis Principal administered the oath to the teaching, non-teaching staff, and students.
Addressing the gathering he defined corruption as the biggest menace of the country.
“The youth should protect the law by providing valid information to the concern authorities and help in the progress of our nation,” he said during his presidential speech.
Vigilance Awareness Week is observed every year across India to promote transparency, accountability, and integrity in public life. The endeavor is to fight against the corruption that is seeping into our lives.
Senior lecturer Vittal Nayak, IQAC coordinator Melwyn Castelino, teaching, non-teaching staff, and students participated in the event.
College NCC Officer Lieutenant K Praveen Kumar and Head of Computer Science Department spoke about the objective of the event, welcomed the gathering, and compered the program.
