Ankola PWD Contractors seek priority in work allotment

Karwar, Sept 28, 2021: Ankola Taluk PWD Contractors’ Association has submitted a memorandum to MLA Roopali Naik seeking priority while allotting works in the Taluk.

“The contractors are in great difficulty due to Covid-19. There are over 150 contractors in the Taluk who can undertake all types of works,” president Murkundi P Naik and General Secretary Ravi G Naik stated in the memorandum.

“We request to provide all the works in the Taluk to the local Contractors. Our association has members from 21 Panchayats. We request to distribute the work by ensuring that no contractor faces discrimination,” they added.
