SDPI stages protest
Mangaluru, Sept 20, 2021: The Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) staged a protest at Bantwal demanding strict legal action against the leaders who had issued a statement supporting the killing of Mahatma Gandhi.
“Hindu Mahasabha state general secretary Dharmendra has claimed that the organization was behind Gandhiji’s killing. Gandhiji’s murder was the biggest terror attack in the country. Dharmendra has also threatened the life of the Chief Minister. Police should book for sedition,” Bantwal unit president Shahul Hamid demanded.
District Committee member Yusuf Aladka, Bantwal unit secretary Munish Ali, Municipal Unit secretary Iqbal, Municipal member Idris P J, Unit members Saleem Aladi, Malik Kolake, Majeed Aladka, and others were present.
Similar protests were held at Belthangady and Sullia.
