Special Train restored on Konkan Route
Udupi, Sept 19, 2021: The service of Train no. 01197 / 01198 will be restored from September 25. Train no. 01150 / 01149 which is at presently serving as weekly superfast special will now be bi-weekly.
1) Restoration of services of Train no. 01197 / 01198 Pune Jn. – Ernakulam Jn. – Pune Jn. Weekly Express Special (Fully Reserved) :
Train no. 01197 Pune Jn. – Ernakulam Jn. Weekly Express Special (Fully Reserved) will leave from Pune Jn. at 10.10 pm every Saturday from Sept 25 until further advice. Train will reach Ernakulam Jn. at 3.20 am on the third day.
Train no. 01198 Ernakulam Jn. – Pune Jn. Weekly Superfast Special (Fully Reserved) will leave from Ernakulam Jn. at 6.50 pm every Monday from Sept 27 until further advice. Train will reach Pune Jn. at 11.35 pm on the next day.
Train no. 01197 will halt at Satara, Karad, Sangli, Miraj Jn., Ghatprabha, Belgavi, Londa Jn., Castle Rock, Kulem, Sanvordem Curchorem, Madgaon Jn., Karwar, Gokarna Road, Kumta, Honnavar, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Mangaluru Jn., Kasaragod, Kanhangad, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalessery, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur Jn., Thrissur, Alwaye & Ernakulam Town stations
Train no. 01198 will halt at all above stations except Ernakulam Town station.
Composition : Total 22 Coaches = 2 Tier AC – 01 Coach, 3 Tier AC – 04 Coaches, Sleeper 11 Coaches, Second Seating – 04 Coaches, SLR – 02
2) Increase in frequency of services of Train no. 01150 / 01149 Pune Jn. – Ernakulam Jn. – Pune Jn. Weekly Superfast Special (Fully Reserved) from Weekly to Bi- Weekly :
Train no. 01150 Pune Jn. – Ernakulam Jn. Superfast Special (Fully Reserved) earlier running every Sunday will now run every Sunday & Wednesday with effect from Sept 29.
Train no. 01149 Ernakulam Jn. – Pune Jn. Superfast Special (Fully Reserved) earlier running every Tuesday will now run every Tuesday & Friday with effect from Oct 1.
