Anantha Vrita celebration at Paniyadi temple on Sept 19
Udupi, Sept 18, 2021: Preparations are on for the ‘Anantha Vrita,’ (Nompu) at the famous Lakshmi Ananthapadmanabha Temple at Paniyadi in Udupi.
The temple dedicated to Sri Ananthapadmanabha is managed by Puthige Matha. It is one of the ancient temples of the region. The temple was renovated recently under the leadership of Puthige Matadhipathi Sri Sugunendra Tirtha Sripadaru.
Nompu celebration will be held on September 19. Panchamrita Abhisheka will be held in the morning. Alankara Pooje at 8 am, Anantha Kadali Samarpane at 9 am and Kalpokta Kalasha Sahita Pooje at 10 am. Mahapooje will be held at 12 noon. Later Maha Prasada will be distributed.
In the evening special Bhajan will be held at 4 pm and Lakshmi Shobhane by women at 6 pm. Hoovina Pooje and Ranga Pooje will be held at 7.30 pm.
