Gold worth ₹ 5.58 lakh seized at Mangaluru Airport
Mangaluru, Sept 13, 2021: The customs officials of Mangaluru International Airport have seized gold from a person who allegedly tried to smuggle it by concealing in a egg cooker.
The Customs Officials (Team 1) seized 116.400 grams gold worth ₹ 5,58,720 from the passenger who had arrived from Dubai on September 12 morning.
The gold was concealed in the heater element of Egg Cooker.
