CPIM holds protest against bus fare hike
Mangaluru, Sept 03, 2021: CPIM district executive committee member Sunil Kumar Bajal has strongly condemned the hike in private bus fare.
“The district administration has shown concern about the few private bus owners. But at the same it has failed to understand the problem of the lakhs of people,” he told while addressing a protest rally at Yeyyadi Junction today.
“People are already suffering due to Pandemic. The district administration had to take the opinion of the people by holding the RTA meeting. But instead, it has raised the fare unilaterally,” he alleged.
CITU leader Ravichandra Konchadi questioned the silence of the MP and MLAs.
DYFI Mangaluru City president Naveen Konchadi, progressive thinker Dr. Krishnappa Konchadi, Dalitha Hakkugala Samithi leader Timmayya Konchadi, CPIM leaders Dayananda Koppalakadu, Dayananda Shettigar, Padmanabha Konchadi, Narayan, Praveen, Panduranga were present.
