Minister Angara directs officials to identify primary contacts
Mangaluru, Aug 31, 2021: District Incharge Minister S Angara has stressed identifying the primary contacts of the Covid patients.
“The health officials should identify the primary contacts of the Covid patients and undertake testing. This will help in controlling the spread of Covid,” Angara told during a meeting at Deputy Commissioner’s office on Monday.
He also stressed increasing the number of testing.
“The positivity rate is decreasing in Dakshina Kannada. Every day about 15,000 samples are tested. By increasing further we can control Covid. The officials should also keep a tab on those under Home Quarantine and ensure they do not venture out,” he said.
