CITU-AIKS to stage protest on August 9

Mangaluru, Aug 08, 2021: The Centre of Indian Trade Union (CITU) and All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) will hold a protest rally at the Clock Tower circle in Mangaluru on August 9.

In a joint press statement, CITU and AIKS said the nationwide protest is held against the Corporate Companies looting the country.

They alleged that the three new agriculture bills are anti farmers and in support of corporates. The Union government is also blamed for taking anti-labor decisions.

Farmers and laborers will participate in the protest to be held 11 am, according to AIKS District general secretary K Yadav Shetty and CITU district general secretary Sunil Kumar Bajal.
