Udupi: 11 houses damaged due to rain
Udupi, July 14, 2021: Eleven houses have been damaged in Udupi district due to heavy rainfall.
Officials said four houses were damaged in Kundapur, three in Udupi, two in Brahmavar and one each in Karkala and Byndoor taluk. The total estimated loss due to the damage to 11 houses is about ₹ 4.16 lakh.
Udupi district recorded 66.7 mm rainfall on Wednesday morning. While Hebri recorded the highest rainfall, Brahmavar had the least.

Karkala: 80.8 mm
Kundapura: 64.4 mm
Byndoor: 55.5 mm
Kaup: 53.6 mm
