Ban on Agumbe Ghat for heavy vehicles
Udupi, June 25, 2021: Udupi Deputy Commissioner has banned the movement of heavy vehicles on 169 A at Agumbe Ghat till October 15.
Agumbe region receives heavy rain during monsoon. There are possibilities of mudslide due to the movement of heavy vehicles in the Ghat section.
Considering this Udupi DC has banned the movement of all heavy vehicles above 12 tons on this stretch till October 15.
