MAHE Pro-Chancellor Dr H. S. Ballal completes five decade of service
Manipal, June 24, 2021: Manipal Academy of Higher Education Pro-Chancellor Dr. H. S. Ballal completed 50 years of service in the Institution yesterday.
Dr. Hebri Subhaskrishna Ballal began his career as a lecturer in Radiology at the newly-opened KMC Mangalore.
He was involved in teaching and shaping the future of students. In 2001, he was appointed Dean of the institution.
Dr. Ballal is a nominee of the President of India in the Court of Assam University, Silchar, and a life member of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Indian Medical Association, Mangalore.
He has also served as Chairman, Higher Education Committee of FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) and is a Director on the boards of many companies that make up the Bangalore-based Manipal Education and Medical Group.
During his, He has immensely contributed to the overall growth and development of the MAHE.
His vision helped Manipal become a global name and helped in shaping the career and future of thousands of students in the last five decades.
Dr. Ballal has been a dynamic leader, pillar of strength, and inspiration for all those associated with MAHE.
The MAHE family has prayed for Dr. Ballal’s well-being, good health, and many more years of productive and fruitful association with the institution.
