Deputy Commissioner issues revised orders on relaxation

Mangaluru, June 22, 2021: With the state government allowing all the shops to open in the district from tomorrow, the Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada has issued a revised order.
Though the state government had ordered all the shops to remain open from 6 am to 1 pm, it had allowed the district administration to make necessary changes in the timing.
Following this, the District Administration has issued revised order to restrict the timing from 7 am to 2 pm.
The order:
A. Night Curfew will be in force from 7 pm to 7 am
B. Weekend Curfew will be from Friday 7 pm to Monday 7 am.
C. Except for weekend curfew, Bus service will be allowed from 7 am to 1 pm with 50percent sitting capacity on weekdays (Monday to Friday).
Additional activities permitted in the district:
- All shops can be opened from 7 am to 2 pm except Air Conditioned shops, Air Conditioned showrooms, and malls.
- Parks opened from 7 am to 10 am only for walking and jogging. No group activities are allowed. Covid Appropriate Behaviour to be followed.
- Marriages are permitted at the house with permission from the heads of local administration. Only 25 people are allowed.
Ban:
- No religious places will be open to the public.
- Taking Children (below 18 years) to shops and other commercial activities strictly prohibited.
More lockdown relaxation in Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru, June 22, 2021: The state government has issued an order providing some relaxation in lockdown.
The order issued on June 22 stated that the decision has been taken after assessing the current Covid-19 situation in certain districts.
As per the order the government has permitted all shops to function (other than air-conditioned shops, air-conditioned shopping complexes, and malls) from 6 am to 1 pm in Dakshina Kannada, Hassan, Davangere, and Chamarajanagara districts.
The order will come into force immediately until 5 am on July 5.

Mangaluru, June 22, 2021: Dakshina Kannada will get more relaxation from tomorrow. Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa agreed to issue an order allowing all shops to remain open till 2 pm from tomorrow.
District In-charge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary told this after meeting the Chief Minister today.
“The textile shops, Xerox and other shops have requested to allow them as they are facing problem due to Lockdown. The MLAs of the district and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel also wanted relaxation in Lockdown,” Kota Srinivas Poojary said.
“I met the Chief Minister today. He stressed decreasing the positivity rate in Dakshina Kannada. To ensure people do not have any problem, he has agreed to allow all shops to open from tomorrow. The shops will be allowed to open from morning to 2 pm,” he said.
“The Chief Minister asked the Chief Secretary to issue the order, the official order is likely to be out shortly,” he said.
The Minister also asked the people to follow Covid Appropriate Behaviour and prevent the spread of Covid.
