Udupi: Heavy rain damages houses and school building
Udupi, June 19, 2021: Eight houses and a school building were damaged due to heavy rain in Udupi district.
Officials said that four houses were damaged in Byndoor, two in Brahmavar and one each in Karkala and Byndoor. The roof sheet of Uppunda Government Primary School in Byndoor Taluk was also damaged.
Most of these buildings were damaged due to the strong wind.
