Monsoon likely to enter Coastal Karnataka next week
Mangaluru, May 29, 2021: The Canara Coast is all set to welcome Southwest Monsoon in a week.
The South Andaman Sea and Car Nicobar experienced rain on May 21 and the northern limit is now crossing Sri Lanka.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin issued today morning, the conditions are likely to become favorable for the onset of monsoon over Kerala around May 31.
Coastal Karnataka is likely to experience moonsoon 2-3 days after that.
Meanwhile, Coastal Karnataka continues to experience pre-monsoon showers in most of the places.
