Raghupathi Bhat visits Covid Care Center at MIT Campus
Udupi, May 20, 2021: Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhat today inspected the newly setup Covid Care Center (CCC) at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) hostel.
Giving details about the facilities at the 300-bed Covid Care Center, Bhat said those admitted at the CCC would get food and the best medical facility round the clock.
“If their health condition gets serious the patient will be immediately shifted to the hospital. Everything is free here. Those who do not have an isolation facility at home can contact the call center (7204789104) and get themselves admitted at the CCC,” here said.
Bhat spoke to some of the patients. The patients were happy with the facility at the center.
Dr. Vasudev and Dr. Shridhar briefed the MLA about the facilities at the center. Udupi Municipal Commissioner Udaykumar Shetty, Tahsildar Pradeep Kurdekar accompanied the MLA.
