Already due to the efforts of MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MRPL is setting up a 2 KL capacity Oxygen Unit at the hospital through its CSR funds.
“Earlier 2.5 KL Oxygen was necessary for the hospital. Now due to COVID, it has increased to about 5 KL. Both the plants will start oxygen generation in a few days. This will provide the needed oxygen here,” he said.
He added that the unit would provide 1 metric ton of oxygen every day. Once commissioned it will decrease the dependency on Oxygen suppliers.
