SDPI demands action against erring gas agencies
Mangaluru, April 20, 2021: Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) leaders met Deputy Director of Food and Civil Supplies demanding strict action against the gas agencies for collecting extra charge while delivering gas cylinders.
“When the delivery personnel is asked about this, they give some reason. But the government has a clear guideline related to this. But almost all the agencies violate it and collect money as per their whims and fancies. This is nothing but daylight robbery. Officials should immediately take action against such agencies,” the SDPI leaders said.
The leaders also warned strong campaign in the coming days if action is not against these erring agencies.
SDPI district secretary Anwar Sadat Bajattur, State leader Sharif Pandeshwar and District Committee member Khader Faringepete were present.
