Gold Jewelry worth ₹20 lakh stolen
Puttur, March 25, 2021: Thieves who entered Shridhar Bhat Jewellers at Puttur have stolen gold worth ₹ 20 lakh.
Police said that the incident took place on March 24 night. The thieves forced open the rolling shutter and entered the shop. Senior police officials visited the spot and collected details.
A case is filed at Puttur Town Police Station under IPC Section 380 (theft) and 457 (Lurking house-trespass or house-breaking by night to commit offence).
It was also noted that the thieves had tried to steal at the nearby Sri Navami Jewellers and Hiranya Machine Cutting and Jewellers.
