Special train to clear festival rush
Udupi, March 23, 2021: To clear extra rush of passengers during Holi, a special train will run between Udhna Junction and Madgaon Junction on Konkan route in co-ordination with Western Railway.
Train no. 09067 Udhna Jn. – Madgaon Jn. Superfast Festival Special (fully reserved) will leave from Udhna Jn. at 4 pm on Friday (March 26) and reach Madgaon Jn. at 9.30 am on the next day.
Train no. 09068 Madgaon Jn. – Udhna Jn. Superfast Festival Special (fully reserved) will leave from Madgaon Jn. at 12.30 pm on Saturday (March 27) and reach Udhna Jn. at 4.25 am on the next day.
Train will halt at Navsari, Valsad, Vapi, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim and Karmali stations.
Composition : Total 20 LHB Coaches = 3 Tier AC – 10 Coaches, Sleeper – 08 Coaches, Generator Car – 02.
All norms of State & Central Government regarding COVID-19 including social distancing, sanitization etc should be followed in trains and at the Railway stations, a press statement by Deputy General Manager (PR) Girish R Karandikar stated.
