Shiradi Ghat traffic disrupted for four hours
Mangaluru, Feb 05, 2021: Following leakage in a gas tanker, traffic was disrupted on NH 75 at Shiradi Ghat for about four hours on Friday.
Police said that at around 10 am today, there was leakage in a gas tanker that was transporting gas from Mangaluru to Bengaluru. The incident took place at Kempuhole in Hassan -DK border.
As there was some leakage, the vehicle movement was stopped on the Shiradi Ghat stretch. The vehicles were immediately diverted through Sampaje and Charmadi Ghat.
The technical expert who rushed to the spot set right the problem and by 2 pm vehicle movement returned to normalcy on the National Highway.
