Dr Veerendra Heggade declares ₹25 lakh donation for Ram Mandir
Dharmasthala, Jan 13, 2021: Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala will donate ₹ 25 lakh for the construction of Sri Rama Mandir at Ayodhya.
Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr. D Veerenda Heggade declared this in the presence of Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Sripadaru of Pejawara Matha. Sripadaru is one of the members of Ayodhya Rama Mandir trust.
Speaking at the ‘Nidhi Samarpan Abhiyan,’ held at Sri Ksetra Dharmasthala on Wednesday, Heggade declared to donate ₹25 lakh and also provide all necessary cooperation as per the inspiration of God.
“With the cooperation of all, the temple should emerge as a wonder of the century and as ‘Janatha Rama Mandir,” he wished.
Stressing on the concept of Rama Rajya, Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Sripadaru said that the temple would be constructed at a cost of ₹ 500 crores. Lodging, library, and other facilities will be undertaken at a cost of ₹ 100 crores.
The Nidhi Samarpan Abhiyan is being held from January 15 to February 25. People can contribute through coupons of ₹ 10, ₹100, and ₹1,000. Vishwa Hindu Parishad workers will visit the houses as part of the campaign.
Belthangady MLA Harish Poonja, Vivek Alva of Alva’s Education Foundation, Vinayachandra, Basavaraj, Ganesh Belthangady of VHP were present.
