Fishing ends in tragedy: Man drowns in river at Uppunda
Udupi, Dec 22, 2020: A man who went for fishing died due to drowning at Uppunda village.
Govinda (32) of Uppunda village in Byndoor Taluk went out for fishing on December 20 evening. It is suspected that between December 6 pm and 7 am of the next day Govinda must have drowned and died in the river while he was fishing.
An Unnatural Death Report (UDR) case is registered at Byndoor Police Station under Section 174 of CrPC.
