Mangaluru, Nov 26, 2020: Moodabidri Police have arrested four persons in connection to a theft case in Moodabidri police station limits.
The incident took place on Nov 11.

Saramma, a resident of Puttige village in Moodabidri police station limits had locked her house and been to a function. Thieves had stolen gold and cash.

The police who investigated the case have now arrested four persons- Ibrahim Khalandar alias Khalandar (29) of Kumble (Kerala), Mohammed Mudassir (20) of Shivamogga, Shahim Siddiq (26) of Moodabidri, and Mohammed Haneef (49) of Manjeshwar (Kerala).

The police have recovered 22.860-gram gold and ₹11 thousand cash.

The police team behind the arrest: Moodabidri Inspector Dinesh Kumar B S, Sub Inspector Sudeep M V and personnel Chandrahas Rai, Akhil Ahmed, Sujan, Santhosh, Basavaraj Patil, Yashwanth Kumar and Shivaraj.
