11 year old dies of snakebite in Kundapur
Udupi, Nov 21: A 11-year-old girl died due to snakebite in Udupi district.
The incident took place at Vatarhadi in Yedamogge village of Kundapur Taluk on Friday morning around 10 am.
Prithvi (11) had been with her mother to the plantation near the house when she was bitten by a poisonous snake.
The girl was immediately rushed to the government hospital in Kundapur and later to KMC-Manipal. But she did not respond to treatment and died at 5.15 pm.
An Unnatural Death Report (UDR) is registered at Shankarnarayana Police station.
