Navarathri celebration begins at Sri Mangaladevi temple
Mangaluru, Oct 17: Sri Mangaladevi Temple was bustling with activities on Saturday early morning. Following all the precautionary measures set by the administration, the temple was gearing up for the Navarathri festival.
The program began by invoking Sri Maha Ganapati, praying to remove all the obstacles and bless in making make the event a grand success.
Goddess Mangaladevi, the presiding deity of the temple, from whom the City gets its name, will be decorated in the Nava Durga form during Navarathri.
The Temple authorities, management along with the priests and other staff members have greeted people on the occasion of Navarathri.
