Green signal for token performance of Huli Vesha
Mangaluru, Oct 13: The District Dharmika Parishad has finally given its nod for token performance of Huli Vesha during Dasara.
The meeting was held on Tuesday evening at Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner’s office.
Durings its meeting last week the Dharmika Parishad had decided not to allow Huli Vesha during Dasara.
But with various organiations and individuals including Youth Congress leader Mithun Rai and Sri Mangaladevi Shobhayatra Samithi had demanded the district administration to review the decision.
The meeting held on Tuesday decided
- To allow only token performance of Huli Vesha inside the temple premises by maximum of 10 artists with time limit.
- Social distance to be maintained during performance.
- Use sanitizers.
- Case would be booked against the temple administration if any violations of guidelines or any untoward incidents.
- Complete ban on Huli Vesha outside temple premises and public places.
- Complete ban on crackers.
