Person possessing Ganja arrested
Bantwal, Oct 01: Bantwal Rural police have arrested a person and seized 230 gram Marijuana (Ganja) from him.
On Sept 30 morning, the Bantwal police stopped a person on motorbike near Ammemar Railway Bridge. While he tried to escape the police followed and arrested him.
The arrested has been identified as Mohammed Azaruddin of Farangipete. A packet comprising 230 gram of ganja (worth Rs 3,000) was seized from his motor bike.
The Bantwal Police have arrested him and booked a case under section 8(C) read with 20 (b)(ii)(a) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985.
