Bike rider killed in accident
Mangaluru, Oct 01: A bike rider died in a road accident in Puttur rural police station limits on Thursday morning.
The incident took place at around 10.15 am when one Mohit Kumar was driving a bike from Pallattur towards Ishwaramangala.
Police said that as he was driving in a rash and negligent manner, he went to the right end of the road and fell on the road.
He was severely injured and taken to the government hospital in Puttur where the doctors declared him dead.
A case is filed under IPC Section 279, 304 (A) at Puttur Rural station.
