Mangaluru, Sep 11: Dakshina Kannada district recorded a steep increase in the COVID number on Friday. The district recorded 446 new cases and 7 deaths.

Bantwal and Belthangady recorded a considerable increase in the number of cases.

Mangaluru Taluk recorded highest (248), followed by Bantwal (85), Belthangady (52), Sullia (23), and Puttur (13).
