DK records 400-plus COVID cases
Mangaluru, Aug 28: Dakshina Kannada saw a steep rise in the COVID cases with 448 positives on Friday.
The district also recorded 6 deaths.
Mangaluru Taluk recorded the highest (273) cases followed by Bantwala (103), Puttur (27), Belthangady 918), Sullia (17). Ten cases were from other districts.
As many as 293 were discharged today (11 from CCC, 170 from Home Isolation and 112 from Hospitals).
The district bulletin states that of the 448 cases, the sources of 215 patients are under investigation.
