COVID-19: DK records 271 cases

Mangaluru, Aug 15: Dakshina Kannada recorded 271 cases and six deaths on Saturday. 

The total COVID cases in DK have reached 8,649 of which 2,070 are active and 6,317 discharged. The total deaths have increased to 262.

As many as 202 were cured and discharged today (7 from COVID Care Center, 147 from Home Isolation, and 48 from hospitals).

Of the six deaths, four are from Mangaluru Taluk and two from other districts.

In Dakshina Kannada district too the number of symptomatic was more than asymptomatic on Saturday.

If 152 are symptomatic, 119 asymptomatic.
