COVID-19: Udupi records 200-plus COVID cases

Udupi, Aug 15: In the last 24 hours, Udupi district recorded 241 new cases and two deaths. It also recorded 229 discharges today. 

Notably, of the 241 cases, 191 are symptomatic and 50 asymptomatic. The total COVID cases in the district has reached 7,738 of which 2,560 are active cases and 5,101 discharged.

Deaths: Total deaths: 77

A 65-year male and 43 year male from Udupi.
