COVID-19: Mangaluru Taluk records 119 cases
Mangaluru, Aug 06: Dakshina Kannada recorded 173 COVID cases and 11 deaths on Thursday.
Of the total 6,715 cases, 3,398 are active and 3,116 are discharged. The total number of deaths in the district is 201.
The district bulletin stated that of the 173 cases today, 83 are ILI, 13 SARI, 4 international travelers and 23 primary contacts. As many as 50 cases are under investigation.
On Thursday too Mangaluru Taluk recorded the highest number of deaths and positive cases. The taluk recorded 6 deaths and 119 cases today.

Two-person from Bantwal and three from other districts are among the 11 deaths recorded on Thursday.
