Total COVID positives cross 6000 in Dakshina Kannada
Mangaluru, Aug 02: Dakshina Kannada district recorded 163 new cases and 10 deaths on Sunday. The district crossed the 6,000 mark today as the total number has touched 6,015.

On Sunday Mangaluru Taluk recorded the highest number of 107 cases followed by Belthangady with 19. Kadaba, Mulky, and Moodabidri did not record any.
Dakshina Kannada has 3,116 active cases and 2,730 discharge. With 10 deaths on Sunday, the total number of deaths in Dakshina Kannada has increased to 169.
