Entry to Udupi district? **conditions apply

Udupi, July 23: While Udupi district has relaxed the border sealdown, there are some restrictions on the free movement into the district.

“The border seal down which was scheduled from July 15 to July 29 has been relaxed. However the checkposts would continue in the borders,” the order issued by Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesh says.

“Only those with essential work can enter the district border. They have to show the supporting documents to  the officials at the checksposts,” the order stated.

However, the bus service would be uninterrupted.

Restrictions would continue in the containment zone. The night curfew from 9 pm to 5 am along with Sunday lockdown.

The DC has also stated that steps would be taken against those who do not wear masks, violate social distancing, and are found spitting in public.
