Kota warns Pvt hospitals against turning down COVID patients
Mangaluru, July 20: District Incharge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary has warned the private hospitals not to turn down COVID patients.
“Dakshina Kannada district is much developed in medical field. The government cannot tolerate any hospitals sending the COVID patients or any other patients without providing treatment. Private hospitals have to treat the COVID patients,” Poojary told during a meeting related to the supervision of COVID patients at Mangaluru on Monday.
He said that the Chief Minister has asked the private hospitals to reserve 50 percent of the beds for COVID patients.
