Minister directs district administration to find out source of COVID cases

District administration instructed to take help from experts 

Mangaluru: District Incharge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary has directed Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner and District Health Officer to find out the source of all the COVID cases in the district including the First Neuro Hospital.

He held an emergency meeting with the officials at Mangaluru after three new cases were confirmed on Wednesday.

Mr. Poojary asked DC and also DHO to find the source of COVID of all the cases including First Neuro Hospital and submit a report to the government. The district administration has been instructed to take the help from an expert team for this purpose.

Mr. Poojary said it would help in solving the question in the minds of the people related to the source of COVID.

DHO Ramachandra Bairi said that the contacts of First Neuro patients have been identified.

He also clarified that the lab report was delayed due to an increase in the number of samples for testing.
