CAMPCO to enhance arecanut purchase limit

Mangaluru: Considering the growers’ requirement, CAMPCO has decided to enhance the purchasing quantity of arecanut from 2 quintals per member to 5 quintals.
This would be with effect from May 4.

At present a farmer can sell 2 quintal arecanut to CAMPCO in a month.

Other conditions issuing of Coupons/Token in advance etc shall continue, a press release from the CAMPCo stated.

Farmers have been asked to note the enhancement and follow the prescribed guidelines on social distancing and hygiene during their visit to the branches.

CAMPCO is striving hard to protect the interests of the Farmers since its commencement and will continue to do so, the press release added.
