Migrants and needy get food from MRPL CSR

Mangaluru: For hundreds of Migrant laborers and needy families, rice sponsored by Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) through its CSR fund is proving to be a vital help during Lockdown.

Sudden imposition of lockdown had put thousands of people including migrant laborers and destitute in the district to hunger and helpless situation.
MRPL through district administration of Dakshina Kannada has sponsored 50,000 Kg rice for the benefit of these needy citizens.

Five Hoblies of Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayath get Grocery Kits from MRPL
Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayath had identified a list of needy families. These families belong to 5 Hoblies- Mangaluru-B, Gurupura, Surathkal, Mulki, and Moodbidri.

MRPL has sponsored a grocery kit comprising of Boiled rice, Toor dal, Rava, Sugar and Tea to these needy families.
