Masks, Rice and Wheat Flour distributed to Journalists

Mangaluru, March 28: Following COVID-19 Lockdown, Dakshina Kannada Working Journalists’ Union (DKWJU) distributed Masks, rice and wheat flour to its members on Saturday. 

DKWJU along with Mangaluru Press Club and Patrikabhavana Trust has taken this unique initiative. 

Union president Mr Shrinivas Nayak Indaje handed over the kit to the journalists. Each journalist is provided a kit comprising 25 kg rice, 5 kg wheat flour and mask. A total of 250 working journalists’ in Dakshina Kannada district including those who are working in rural areas are getting the benefit.   

DKWJU comprises of 280 members.
