Thieves steal gold and cash worth ₹2.95 lakh
Mangaluru, Nov 12: Thieves who broke open the backdoor of a house stole gold and cash worth ₹2.95 lakh.
The incident took place at Puttige village in Moodabidri police station limits.
Saramma had locked her house in and been to the Mehendi function of her neighbor on Nov 11 afternoon.
When she returned around 10 pm she found the tower bolt of the back door was broke open. Thieves had stolen 70 gram gold ornaments and ₹15,000 cash. The total value of the stolen materials and cash is estimated to be ₹2,95,000, according to the case registered at Moodabidri police station.
