Mangaluru, Sept. 16, 2025: The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, celebrated its annual cultural fest, Parampara 2025, on Monday, showcasing India’s rich traditions and unity in diversity.

The event was presided over by Dr. Pavithra Kumari, Dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, in the presence of HoD Ms. Anjana T.V., Student Welfare Officer Mr. Roshin K. Sibi, and Cultural Coordinator Ms. Pratheeksha Shetty. Student Council representatives, including President Ms. Meenakshi, Vice President Mr. Tanveer Singh, Secretary Ms. Kshithi, Joint Secretary Mr. Varshith, and Cultural Coordinators Mr. Prajnesh and Ms. Prapthi, were also present.

The formal programme began with a prayer and floral welcome, followed by the symbolic blooming of coconut and areca nut flowers, signifying prosperity and cultural continuity. The cultural segment featured traditional competitions, with the Group Fashion Show and Individual Fashion Show as key highlights.

In the Group Fashion Show, the I year MBA Aviation Management team emerged winners, while Team Kalamrita secured second place. In the Individual Fashion Show, Ms. Felcita Felix Dias (II BBA Aviation and Logistics Management) was crowned Queen and Mr. Akshay S (II BBA Aviation and Logistics Management) was crowned King.

Alongside, a range of fun activities kept the festive spirit alive, drawing enthusiastic participation from students. The celebration concluded with a valedictory session, appreciating the contributions of faculty, staff, and students in making Parampara 2025 a success.

The event highlighted cultural inclusiveness and reinforced the spirit of unity among students of the Institute of Aviation Studies.
