Dakshina Kannada: Preparations Underway for Kannada Rajyotsava Celebrations
Mangaluru, Oct 20, 2024: Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. G Santhosh Kumar has instructed officials to ensure all necessary preparations are in place for the Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations scheduled for November 1.
He was speaking during a pre-event meeting held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Friday.
The Kannada Rajyotsava program will take place at Nehru Maidan, where individuals excelling in various fields will be honored with district awards, Dr. Kumar said. He urged all departments to make necessary arrangements and ensure the event is conducted without any lapses.
The meeting was attended by Additional Superintendent of Police Rajendra, Mangaluru Sub-Divisional Officer Harshavardhan, Mangaluru City Corporation Deputy Commissioner Girish Nandan, Deputy Director of Kannada and Culture Department Rajesh G., and other departmental officials.
