Ujire, Sept 02, 2024: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has become the voice and representative of Hindus across the world, said Sharath Krishna Padvettnaya, the hereditary trustee of the Shri Janardhana Swamy Temple, Ujire. He was speaking at the Hindu Samavesha held on Sunday at the Rathabeedi of Shri Janardhana Swamy Temple in Ujire.

“The efforts of senior activists have strengthened the organization. We must prevent the injustices faced by Hindus in the country. Only when Dharma is preserved can the nation be saved,” Padvettnaya remarked during his address.

Mangaluru Division Secretary Deviprasad Shetty, in his keynote speech, emphasized the need to condemn the political and social attacks on the Hindu community. He stressed that the Hindu society must not be divided on caste lines.

Dr. M.M. Dayakar, president of the Utsav Samiti, who inaugurated the event, urged the gathering to channel their inner strength towards fighting for justice.

Leaders including Naveen Neriya, Dr. Bharati, G.K., Sumanth Kumar Jain, Administrative Director of Excel College, MLA Harish Poonja, and MLC K. Prathap Simha Nayak were present.

Sixty senior activists were honored during the event.

Sampath Suvarna welcomed the gathering, and Mohan Beltangady delivered the vote of thanks.

A vibrant Shobha Yatra procession was held from Ratnavarma Heggade Stadium to Sharada Mantapa, featuring 60 Bhajan troupes, 60 motorcycles, and special performances which captivated the audience.
