Uttara Kannada: Holiday declared for schools and PU Colleges in these Taluks on July 16

Karwar, July 15, 2024: Due to heavy rainfall alert issued for the region, the Uttara Kannada Deputy Commissioner has declared holiday for schools and Pre-University (PU) colleges of all taluks except Haliyal and Mundagod on July 16.

The Deputy Commissioner has announced the closure of all government, aided and private primary, high schools, and PU colleges in all the taluks except Haliyal and Mundagod.

IMD has issued red alert in the region till 8.30 am on July 16.
