COVID-19: Steep fall in COVID cases in Udupi on Monday

Udupi, Oct 19: Udupi district witnessed a steep fall in the COVID cases on Monday.
The total positive cases recorded in the district was 68 of which Udupi had 39, Karkala 21 and Kundapura 8.

Only four are admitted at the designated COVID hospital and 64 are under Home isolation.

The district recorded two deaths:

1. Male (63) from Karkala: Cause of death: Severe COVID-19 with Acute Respiratory distress syndrome, Old case of Pulmonary tuberculosis and
   Cerebrovascular accident – Right Side
2. Female (55) from Kundapura. Cause of death: Severe COVID-19 with Acute Respiratory distress syndrome, Sepsis Shock, Hyper leukemia, Acute renal failure and Pneumonia.
