On the third day of Navratri, Mangaladevi is in Bhagavathi Devi Alankara.
Bhagavathi, the one, in whom this world seeks it’s refuge. She is offered a turmeric red colour saree and is wearing precious golden ornaments. Seated on Her ‘Vahana,’ -the Lion named Maigendra, Blessing the devotees with abhaya mudra, She is also holding a mace, chakra and sword.
ನವರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಮೂರನೇಯ ದಿನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯಣೀಯಳಾದ ‘ಭಗವತಿ’ ಅಲಂಕಾರ ಸ್ವರೂಪಳಾಗಿ ‘ಕೇಸರೀ ವರ್ಣದ’ ಸೀರೆಯನ್ನು ದೇವಿಯು ತೊಟ್ಟಿರುವಳು.
ಸರ್ವಾಭರಣಗಳಿಂದ ಭೂಷಿತೆಯಾದ ದೇವಿಯು ಚತುರ್ಭುಜಳಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವ ಹಸ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಶುವನ್ನು ವಾಮಹಸ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಗದೆಯನ್ನು ಧಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅಭಯ ವರದ ಹಸ್ತಳಾಗಿ, ಕಾಲಂದುಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ಧಾರಣೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ತ್ರಿಶೂಲ ಧಾರಿಣಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಡಗರದಿ ಭಗವತೀ ಸ್ವರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಂಹವಾಹಿನಿಯಾಗಿ ವಿಜೃಂಭಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವಳು.
