Karkala records 58 COVID cases
Udupi, Oct 13: Udupi district recorded 174 new cases and a death on Tuesday.
According to the health bulletin, Udupi taluk recorded 68. Karkala saw an increase in the number. The taluk recorded 58 cases. Kundapur had 40 cases. Eight patients are from other districts.
Death: Female (74). Cause of death: Severe COVID-19 with Acute Respiratory distress syndrome, Septic Shock, Multi Organ Dysfunction syndrome, Hypertension and Hypothyroidism.
