Heavy Rainfall Alert: Holiday declared for Schools in Dakshina Kannada on July 27
Mangaluru, July 26, 2023: In view of the severe weather warning issued by the Meteorological Department for Coastal Karnataka, the Dakshina Kannada district administration has declared a holiday for Schools in the district on July 27.
In the order, the Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada has announced a holiday for Anganwadis, Schools, private and government aided institutions on July 27. However Colleges will remain open.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rain alert for the Coastal region.
Udupi district too has declared holiday for schools and PU Colleges.
